Dr. Who, BBC1

The nation’s favourite doctor is back and there is a new man behind the role, along with new Daleks and a new assistant. Matt Smith teams up with Karen Gillan to fight demons and bad guys, with the help of the time travelling Tardis.

Glee, E4

The all singing, all dancing, all-American comedy drama is back after a short two week break to continue its first season. For all you non-Gleeks out there who wonder what it’s all about, it focuses on a high school glee club called "New Directions", at the fictional William McKinley High School in Ohio. A group of miss-matched teens come together in Glee to battle social and personal problems with the help of their teacher Mr. Schuster.

Tune in on Monday nights at 9pm to catch up with the latest Glee dramas.

Britain’s Got Talent, ITV1

Oh yes, its back! The talent show with that makes you cringe, laugh and cry all in one hour is back for a fourth series, and there are some real treats in store.

Judges Piers Morgan, Amanda Holden and the unforgettable Simon Cowell scour the nation for raw talent, whether it is singing, dancing, eating fire, juggling or whistling out of your nose!

Tune in every Saturday night and be entertained by the talented (and not so talented) entrants.

The Rick Gervais Show, Channel 4

The audio comedy shows by British comedian Ricky Gervais have been turned into an animated series. Brought to you by the creators of The Office and Extras, this animated comedy series uses the original record-breaking podcasts by Gervais, featuring witty banter from Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington. Subjects of the podcast include 20th-century inventions, methods of population control and the evolution of philosophy.

Tune in on Friday’s at 10.30pm.

House, Sky1

The American medical drama is in its sixth series and is even wittier than ever. Hugh Laurie stars alongside Lisa Edelstein, Jesse Spencer, Jennifer Morrison, Omar Epps, Robert Sean Leonard and Olivia Wilde as an unconventional diagnostician at the fictional Princeton‑Plainsboro Teaching Hospital in New Jersey.

The award-winning show is critically acclaimed and Laurie has been honoured by the Screen Actors Guild for his performances.

Tune in at 10pm on Sundays for your dose of House M.D.

Disney Channel: Hannah Montana

When you were at school did you just want to fit in and be a normal child? Miley Stewart does, although her story is quite unique as when she's not a school she is pop superstar Hannah Montana. And the other twist is that no one is aware that they are the same person (thanks to a wig).

This show is on daily and is a massive hit with kids in the UK and US and main actor Miley Cyrus has become a huge star. Catch it now and see the new Hilary Duff on the show that made her famous.

The Gadget Show, Five

The renowned technology feast continues to wow audiences all over Britain with the latest gadgets. Presenters Jon Bentley, Jason Bradbury, Suzi Perry and Ortis Deley review the newest elements if technology, from computers and phones to cameras and Sat Nav.

Taking the Stage, MTV

This is a classic MTV reality show that will have you reaching for your leg warmers and reaching for the skies. Taking the Stage is a show set at the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, Ohio and is produced by Nick Lachey.

The first season documented the trials and successes of an assortment of school friends as they train for a career in the arts. Think Fame but real! The show is currently in its second season and can usually be seen at 11.30am.
